Students who enroll at TSC to transfer to TWU after attaining their associate\u2019s degree can expect a seamless transfer of their earned academic credits. This arrangement will allow them to immediately begin their studies in a program of their choice at TWU, whether in-person at one of their three campuses or through fully online courses.<\/p>\n The agreement aligns with one of the TSC\u2019s most significant goals: to help provide a wide variety of academic opportunities to its students through partnerships forged with other universities. For those students who seek to maximize their educational opportunities while minimizing the cost of tuition they will incur along the way, this articulation agreement will achieve the goal of helping them save precious time and money.<\/p>\n \u201cProviding a high quality and affordable education remains a focus of both institutions,\u201d said 51ÁÔÆæ President Dr. Jesus Roberto Rodriguez. \u201cStudents may earn an associate\u2019s degree or transfer credit from our college at about 1\/3 of the price of other local higher education institutions. Then, when they transfer to Texas Woman\u2019s University, they can be confident that their credits have maximum transferability, saving them time and money.\u201d<\/p>\n Dr. Jorge Figueroa Flores, Vice Provost of Curriculum and Strategic Initiatives at TWU and one of the representatives participating in the MOU signing, also recognizes the multitude of positive new opportunities that the partnership will create for ambitious young students who look to further their education at TWU.<\/p>\n \u201cToday, we gather not simply to sign an agreement but to solidify a partnership that reflects our shared commitment to transforming lives through education,\u201d said Dr. Flores. \u201cOur work is not about institutions or titles but rather about the people we serve \u2013 the students who entrust their futures with us and will shape our world.
