As a student at TSC, Sobrevilla found more than an affordable and accessible education. She discovered a campus culture where professors were deeply invested in student achievement and where meaningful connections helped students thrive both academically and personally.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody around me was really involved,\u201d Sobrevilla said. \u201cThere were always open discussions, and the professors were very involved. They took me seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n
Those experiences left a lasting impression on Sobrevilla, who credits her instructors with helping her build confidence and stay focused on her goals. She said TSC faculty members understood the challenges students face because many had experienced similar journeys themselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey would see that you’re here to learn,\u201d she said. \u201cThey really understand that they’re once in a similar journey.\u201d<\/p>\n
Throughout her time at TSC, Sobrevilla appreciated the sense of community that brought students together. Whether inside or outside the classroom, she found inspiration in the diverse experiences and ambitions of those around her.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone has a story,\u201d she said. \u201cThat passion really brings you together.\u201d<\/p>\n
As graduation approached, Sobrevilla reflected on the relationships and encouragement that helped shape her college experience. The support she received from faculty mentors reinforced her belief that she could achieve her goals and continue pursuing new opportunities.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey gave me a huge impact on my life,\u201d Sobrevilla said. \u201cThey really believed in me.\u201d<\/p>\n
Today, Sobrevilla looks back on her time at 51ÁÔÆæ with gratitude and pride. She encourages current and future students to take advantage of the opportunities available to them, build relationships with their professors, and remain committed to their educational goals.<\/p>\n
