Welcome to the Industrial Mechanics and Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, and Automation (AMRA) Program!
Statement of Purpose
The Associate of Applied Science in Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, and Automation (AMRA) provides the opportunity for students to develop skills in many areas including electrical, troubleshooting, maintenance planning, programmable logic control systems, blueprint reading, and welding. Students may choose to earn a robotics specialization, through which they develop skills such as the installation, interfacing, programming, and maintenance of robotic cells.
Upon successful completion of the program, students may earn:

- ÌýAssociate of Applied Science – Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, and Automation; Robotics Specialization

The program is open to students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels who are seeking to apply their technical skills to a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, energy, food and beverage, construction, and aerospace.

Skills and knowledge you will gain
Graduates will be able to:
- Ìýidentify and interpret electric circuit diagrams and blue;
- Ìýcreate instructions for PLCs through programming to control machinery and processes;
- Ìýdemonstrate analogy and ability to follow safety protocols;
- Ìýunderstand and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic circuit diagrams, and install components to control circuits;
- Ìýcreate functional circuits and schematics and install electrical components; and
- Ìýmaintain and adjust machinery and perform scheduled preventative maintenance in the industry.
